Klasszikon ensemble is made up of highly trained musicians with classical and jazz background and is a trail-blazer representative of vocal classical crossover . They interpret the music of great classical composers such as Verdi, Mozart, Puccini and Bizet stepping outside tradition. Versatile operasinger Monika Sebők and her jazz quartett has covered well-known and virtuoso arias and adapted them for a jazz line up. The breathtaking classical melodies fill up the room but the sound differs enormously from ordinary classical arrangements due to the instrumentation and the rhythmic playing styles borrowed from jazz, pop, rock and musical. This combined music form offers a new and exciting experience for the fans of opera, jazz and popular music alike.
