Budapest Jazz Orchestra was founded in 1998 as the solely professional big band in Hungary. The band follows the traditional big band line up (17 players) performing legendary hits from the swing era, concert band repertoire, crossover and contemporary classical music. It has developed dynamically over the years, making a whole circuit of the genre of big band and achieving a wordwide reputation in contemporary jazz.

Joan Faulkner, the American jazz singer lives in Germany and has been singing gospel since her childhood, but today her repertoire consists of jazz, blues, soul and pop. The Budapest Jazz Orchestra will play with Joan gospel and funky, while world-famous jazz evergreens in orchestral instrumentation will also receive a place in their show.
