Gábor Gadó has played together with such outstanding musicians of Hungarian jazz life as Ferenc Snétberger, Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, Attila László and he was also to be seen in many international formations as well. His first band "Joy" released an album called Cross Cultures. His first record, Special Time came out it 1991. In Paris he founded the Gábor Gadó Quartet with French musicians and released three highly successful records. His Corners of My Mind album made with Gábor Winand was among the best jazz records selected by the French magazine "Jazzman" in 2002. In 2003 he was awarded the Bobby Jaspar Prize for the jazz artist of the year by the French L\'Académie du Jazz, which is so far the highest recognition of his lifetime achievement. He is a sought after guest of international festivals and clubs. This evening the quartet of top Hungarian jazz musicians shall play Gadó\'s own compositions.
