The Hot Jazz Band founded and led by Tamás Bényei since 1985 has become one of the most successful professional representatives of the marvellous musical world known as the age of jazz. The decades of the 20s, 30s and 40s are born again through their early jazz, swing and Dixieland interpretations. Their repertoire also includes Hungarian compositions of that age as well. This period and the virtuosity of the band are characterised by entertaining, melodic music.
