Márton Fenyvesi founded his quartet in 2010 after playing in different Hungarian and international bands (Balázs Elemér Sextet, Modern Art Orchestra, Amsterdam-Budapest Underground). The quartet is a meeting point for members of youngest and middle aged generation of inland jazz life: the bassist and the drummer are first-call musicians playing in several cutting edge groups in Hungary, the pianist is a graduate at jazz conservatory in Graz. Their own sound mixes the acoustic double bass and piano with the semi-electronic guitar and Fender Rhodes. The quartet plays compositions of Márton Fenyvesi.
