The ten-year-old Empty Pubs is a bunch of friends, in fact. This easy going, informal relationship defines the mood of the band - the saying proves to be true: this is 'sophisticated, high standard joyful music'. The repertoire consists mainly of own compositions rooted somewhere in blues and rock and roll. Lyrics are thoughtful and thus to be paid attention to, but there are some easy going, tricky ones, of course. The band is recording its fourth album this year and is preparing to jubilee early summer in a large scale concert.
