Founded by Rita Barna and Lucio Dominguez in 2005, CubaRitmo represents authentic and modern Cuban music (salsa, afro cuban, rumba-bolero, guaracha, son, cha cha cha, timba, etc.) through transcriptions and compositions of their own, including some other Latin American genres, like merenge, bossa-nova, samba. The band's first album, entitled "Todo Lo Que Puedo Dar" (by EMI in 2008) consists of cover songs and three original compositions.
