Djabe is the number one representative of Hungarian Jazz/World fusion music.
In the last few years they played in 40 countries. Djabe got several prestigious domestic and international awards.
Last year the band celebrated its 15th Anniversary with a sold out concert at the Palace of Art in Budapest. The double DVD from the fantastic concert will come out soon.
Djabe has been working with the legendary Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett for four years. They played at numerous top festivals in Europe and Asia. The Djabe special guest Steve Hackett project played not only one time for 13 -15000 people.
The set consist of Genesis, Steve Hackett and Djabe classics.
Djabe and Steve last year toured in August together in Russia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Hungary, and recorded a double album. The recordings released this February on a double CD under the title:
Djabe special guest Steve Hackett: In the Footsteps of Attila and Genghis.
At their recent show in the Columbus Jazz pub will feature the material of this album.
